You can stop sending me those stupid reminders that my library books are due. I know that I have about 30 books sitting in the middle of my living room and that I have had many of them since September. I promise I am taking great care of them.(They have not been harmed in any way)
I can’t bring them back to the library yet. I am in the middle of a very important process, and I must continue to keep some books hostage until I am done.
In the meantime, take these inferior books as a sign of my good will. They either were not that great or were utterly unhelpful.
As soon as my stupid thesis is done, I will release the other books.
