Eudaimonia: the well-lived life that brings satisfaction. For the greeks, eudaimonia encompasses the seeking of pleasure, the pursuit of honor, a devotion to virture, a life of public service, a dedication to civic duty and the aquisition of wealth.
Plato believed that eudaimonia was the highest purpose of of human life. I believe that trying to fit all those things into life will either make us crazy happy or just plain crazy. But I’m willing to try.
